In addition, when this product is at the end of its life cycle, after being worn for many years, it can be discarded in a landfill and will decompose entirely in an average of 3 years, while Traditional Polyamide takes around 50 years to do so, as proven by ASTM D5511 – Standard Test Method for Determining Anaerobic Biodegradation of Plastic Materials Under High-Solids Anaerobic-Digestion Conditions.
